Pie? More Please! – We have returned to Raleigh after hours of eating, napping, and spending time with our family in Myrtle Beach for Thanksgiving break. We even went to a long walk on the (freezing cold) beach! When Winston got home he passed out on the bed and slept for 16 hours straight! I (Rita) stayed up and helped put up the family Christmas tree.
And now for some pug news! For just over 2 years, 90DD has been working with a non-profit Pug Rescue called Mid-Atlantic Pug Rescue.
MAPR is dedicated to providing for the short and long term needs of abandoned or surrendered pugs. They give rescued pugs veterinary care, a nurturing foster environment, and permanent placement into a loving home. In addition, they offer education to the public on the special responsibilities of pug ownership and the need for domestic animal population control. The organization primarily serves Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia.
The MAPR motto is: Letting no pug go unloved up and down the East coast!
Right now, MAPR is in the final voting round to win a grant from The Animal Rescue Site, which helps shelters and rescued animals on the East coast.
With your help to vote and spread the word, MAPR could win a $2,000 or $1,500 grant! Please CLICK HERE to vote for MAPR so we can make it to #1! Voting is open until December 16 and you can vote once every day.
In other dog related news – 90DD client, Hundhaus Wine & Spirits recently launched their company Facebook page featuring the logo that was created earlier this year by our team. Hund Haus Wine & Spirits is Loretto, TN’s newest family-owned business and will be well-stocked with wines, select whiskies, a wide range of spirits, and high gravity beers at fetching good prices. That is a pack we would feel spirited to join!
Peace, love and PUGS,
Winston & Rita
