90 Degree Takes Home 6 Web Design Awards!

This year, we are honored and humbled to be receiving 6 Web Design Awards. For years, we’ve created award winning web designs, and each year we challenge ourselves to get better and better. It’s always nice when your work can be recognized. The accomplishment means even more to us this year (considering the challenges we’ve all faced). To us, these awards represent more than just 6 great web designs. Throughout this year, we’ve worked hard to help our clients excel through the uncertainty. As we navigated the “new normal”, we challenged ourselves to continue to push for our clients and make our work better than ever before. We’re thrilled to share this recognition with you all and want to thank all of our clients who inspire our work.

Today, we learned we are receiving 6 Web Design Awards from the Web Marketing Association. The annual WebAward Competition is the longest running Web Design Awards Competition, now in its 24th year. The WebAwards sets the standard for excellence in Web Design and Development. The judges use the following criteria to rank entries: Design, Innovation, Content, Technology, Interactivity, Copywriting, Ease of Use. We have some talented competitors, which is why we are elated to bring home Web Design Awards in these 6 different categories: 2 Awards for Outstanding Website, Best Biotechnology Website, Best Consulting Website, Best Construction Website, and Best Restaurant Website.

Outstanding Website

Diveplane.ai is the first of our Outstanding Website Awards. An Artificial Intelligence company who needed a site as innovative and understandable as their technology. We were inspired to design something spectacular to showcase their brand, and we were so happy with the results.

SME Business won our other Outstanding Website Award. As a new business in a highly competitive space (like bookkeeping and financials), it can be difficult to gain traction in the local market. We helped them build a brand that would set them apart and stand out in a crowd. These guys offer top notch service to their clients, and needed a top notch logo and website to represent them!

Best Biotechnology Website

Biotechnology is a space we’ve always excelled in. Which is why we are over the moon for our clients, Resilient Biotics for this stunning website design. We are so thankful to take home The Best Biotechnology Website for a 2nd year in a row! To design this masterpiece, we used a combination of aerial shots, motion and animation, professional photography and other elements to design a site as smart as their technology. The name of this site “Microbiome Beauty” and if you visit their website, you’ll understand why!

Best Consulting Website

The great Laurie Ruettimann asked us to design a website that is a bold, fearless, and badass as she is! And, who knew HR could be so fun? Laurie needed a site to showcase her podcasts, consulting services, and public speaking in a unique and compelling way. We couldn’t be more excited that our work for Laurie Ruettimann has won 2020’s Best Consulting Website!

Best Construction Website

Buckley Fence does some stunning work. So, we needed to make sure our work for them was just as stunning. This horse fencing company came to us with a branding and website redesign project and the before/after will amaze you. The results are interactive and easy to navigate. Not to mention, elegantly equestrian. Big thank you to these guys for inspiring our work and enabling us to win Best Construction Website!

Best Restaurant Website

Rooftop Bistro and Bar in Santa Barbara needed a website that would highlight their delicious food and stunning views. Restaurant design must be simple and functional. We worked hard to make sure the site was modern, fresh, easy to use, and super appetizing. So, whether checking out the menu or making a reservation, scrolling through on your desktop or mobile device, Rooftop lives up to its Best Restaurant Website Award.
